Evening Primrose Oil: Rich in GLA (& Omega 6), GLA is known to
prevent heart disease, PMS, MS and high blood pressure. It is also known to relieve pain and inflammation,
enhance the release of sex hormones including oestrogen and testosterone and help lower cholesterol.
Linseed Oil: Rich in Omega-3 EFA (like fish oil but plant sourced).
Borage Oil: Also known as Starflower, higher in GLA than Evening Primrose.
Phosphatidyl Choline: Helps break down fat allowing better absorption.
Inositol: Powerful antioxidant. Studies suggest it helps prevent &
treat heart disease, lowers cholesterol, protects liver from fatty deposits and is associated with lower
incidence of cancer.
Lecithin: Is needed by every cell in the body. Cell membranes are largely
made of Lecithin as is the protective sheath around the brain, muscles and nerves. Unlike other fats,
Lecithin is soluble in water allowing fats to be absorbed better whilst enabling fats like cholesterol
to be removed. Also helps repair damage to the liver, improve brain function and lower cholesterol.
PABA: Antioxidant amino acid that maintains healthy gut flora. Also
reduces inflammation and nervousness.
Magnesium Acsorbate: Supplies Magnesium and Vitamin C. Magnesiun is
essential for energy production, muscle function, twitching, PMS, nerves, insomnia, poor digestion, irritability.
Calcium Citrate: Vital for strong bones and teeth but also nerves. Lowers
cholesterol. Keeps skin and nails healthy. Helps with insomnia, eczema, aching joints, high blood pressure.
B Complex: B vitamins help maintain health of nerves, skin, eyes, hair,
liver, mouth, muscle tone and mood. Because they work together they should be taken together.
