Location: South Kensington
Position: Full Time, permanent in -house
We are seeking an experienced PR & Marketing Assistant to join the dynamic department at our head office in South Kensington.
This is a challenging role, in a fast moving environment where you will assist the PR & Marketing Manager with the day-to-day duties of running the department and be expected to bring creative input, contacts and lots of enthusiasm with you to take the brand onwards and upwards.
A team of two, the candidate will report directly to the PR & Marketing Manager.
Key job accountabilities:
PR –
- Initiate and organise daily press requests reactive and pro-active.
- Manage product stock levels at headoffice.
- Help organise press launches as well as any other ad hoc events for marketing/corporate.
- Offer creative ideas for campaigns and project manage from start to finish.
- Communicating all PR activity internally within the company.
- Good knowledge of national and regional media with contacts within beauty/health/features.
Marketing –
- Existing contacts of suppliers, agencies etc.
- Database management and activity
- Experience in direct marketing, online and above the line marketing
- Over & above thinking for marketing strategy, UK & International
- POS – responsibility for visual merchandising in-store
- Analyse and monitor the success of media campaigns.
Good computer skills are essential as is a real passion for the beauty and cosmetics industry.
